7 Resources to Become a Printable Designer

By Deborah Forget (4J)

Having an arsenal of resources at your disposal is incredibly useful for any business. It is no different for those who work with printables on a daily basis! Your job essentially is to create graphics that are meant to help people. They could be something inspirational or something productive that makes life easier for your customers. If you have an artsy part of your brain ready to break out, this might be an amazing path for you! It’s good to have a creative outlet. Whether it be your full time job or just a side gig, printables can generate some good income for you!

Remember, starting your digital day job is like putting a puzzle together. Every piece fits together to form the full picture.

  1. Canva

Canva is one of the internet’s best tools for designing just about anything! I’ve used canva for everything from creating my site’s logo to the graphic at the top of this article and I’ve only scratched the surface. Create anything from scratch or start with a template. Let your creative side out!

  1. Adobe Photoshop

Photoshop is perhaps one of the few products in the world that requires no introduction or sales pitch. That’s because of it being such a phenomenal tool for creators the world over, including printable designers! See what you can do with it!

  1. PicMonkey

PicMonkey, like Canva and Adobe is another fantastic tool for printable design. Each of the three offer different features. Some prefer to use the same program repeatedly, some use different programs for different designs. There is no wrong way. This is your business, use the tools that work best for you!
